Payment

You can pay in advance through bank transfer or by cash on delivery. We require payment in advance with custom made orders.

How long does it take to deliver the goods?

Most of our products are personalized, be it by the embossed monogram, engraved picture on the wooden part by wood burning or a specific combination of colors of leather and seams. For this very reason we don’t have most of our bags in stock, but we start to manufacture them the moment we receive your order. The less challenging products are usually shipped within 2 weeks from your order, but since the orders can stack up, we normally send your order within 3 weeks from receiving the payment at the latest. If your order should take more time than that, we will let you know. If you have a specific request considering the delivery date, let us know via note when you order and we’ll try to accommodate your needs.

How to take care of our bags?

The surface of O´GAR products is treated with natural wax and mix of oils, which protects leather and enhances its durability. Wooden parts are treated with non-toxic health safe finish. Wood is a natural material that changes its properties with humidity fluctuations, which is why we don’t recommend exposing our products to moisture. Natural materials require care, but don’t worry; it’s not challenging or time-consuming.

Treat the leather parts with O´GAR leather balm, which you can find in our e-shop. Wipe the wooden parts with wet cloth if needed.

Animal vs Vegan vs Recycled

Beware of the trend of vegan (non-animal) and recycled materials, which only exist because of further chemical processing of plastic waste and affects your body in a same harmful way, whether it’s recycled or not. There is nothing more natural and durable than leather itself.

What about wooden bags and felling?

We love trees and that’s why we try and find secondary use for previously processed wood in the process of manufacturing our products. Our bags are created from combination of leather and reclaimed wood, which is special for its patina, story and ecological approach. We use discarded plywood pallets for the inner parts of our bags, outer parts can be made for example from an old wardrobe. We are really enjoying working with reclaimed wood – this kind of wood has unusual character and beauty. Recycling is environmentally conscious and saves trees.

Do you make custom order bags?

Every personalized order is a challenge and we love making custom orders. Most frequently we tailor the dimensions of our bags to customer’s needs (for example for notebooks etc.). All of our wooden bags can also be made in all-leather version.

Is it possible to engrave a picture or text to the wooden part of a bag?

Yes, personalized wooden bag is a perfect birthday gift, but also a great gift to treat yourself with. Besides embossed monogram, you can also order personalized bag with your own picture or quote burned into the wooden part. An inscription, poem or a verse of favorite song gives the final product hallmark of originality. All you have to do is write the text you want on your bag in the note while ordering (you can also send a picture or logo via e-mail). The personalization by wood burning costs additional 300,-CZK.
